Moe Yaa
In Acholi, moo yaa is shea butter, and yaa is the wild shea tree. Shea Luxury Essentials becomes Moe Yaa: the same purple and gold your customers love, without the glitter, the script lettering, or a front panel crammed with text.
Every image on this page is your own jar photograph with the new label wrapped onto it.
Wild Nilotica shea, from Acholi
East African Nilotica shea (Vitellaria nilotica) is softer and creamier than West African shea and melts at room temperature. Acholi women make it by hand, and it has long been used both as a cooking oil and as a skin and baby balm. That story belongs on the brand, not just in the name.
Brand use: these four steps can go on the inside of the gift box, on the website's "Our shea" page, and in a four-post launch series. The cooperatives' geographical-indication application (with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau) is worth a mention on pack once it's granted.
Three colourways on your jars
Each option keeps the same jar, gold band and white lid. Only the label changes. Click an option to see it larger, or flip back to the current label for comparison.

Every line of the document, reworked
Original text on the left, BP's comment in the middle, and the copy now printed on the label on the right.
One Acholi word for each product
Each product gets a short Acholi word in gold italic, with a plain English descriptor underneath. "Platinum" stays on the label as part of the descriptor so existing customers still recognise it.
Please have a native Acholi speaker check spelling, tone and meaning for every name before trademark filing.
